Growing up I never learned what science, technology and math formulas and equations really are.

This week we interviewed Andre Broetz, founder of Die Lernwerkstatt e.V. - a nonprofit “Nachhilfe” (after-school tutoring) education organization in Berlin, about how he teaches math formulas and how he and his program want to use Baugarten.

This week we interviewed Emily Martin, formerly of MIT’s Education Game Lab. Emily has taught math in schools in Boston and Cambridge, MA as well as leading the library at Mary Lion Boston Public School, including new initiatives for digital learning.
